Hi- I was hoping that you could let me know if you ever decide to give up your URL or move your blog, etc..

I have been blogging at My Name is Mommy since 2002 when I started the blog on a family website and then moved to Typepad in 03 or 04. At the point at which someone suggested I at least reserve the URL to protect my name and content- I saw you had already started your blog of the same name under the URL. I am interested in the URL and if at some point you decide to move or give it up, I’d really like to get it from you. I am willing to negotiate a fee.

I’m not interested in stirring things up or anything- so don’t take this as being hostile. My Name is Mommy is my personal blog and I have kept it non-commercial. My commercial interests are elsewhere but I am involved in a couple projects and would like to protect the “My Name is Mommy” name down the road.

Anyhow, would appreciate a head’s up if you decide to abandon the URL or, like I said, would be glad to negotiate for you to cede it to me at the point you are no longer using it.

Btw- enjoyed your last post. It is crazy how the time passes by so quickly. :)

I was actually thinking of you just last week, wondering what had happened to you, and wondering how I’d let myself get out of touch with you when we’d reconnect those few years back. I still talk to/chat with Jackie almost daily (you’ll see her in the comments as Jack or Jackie), and we almost hooked up with Amy W. last weekend. I haven’t seen her since hight school. Our plans got canceled, but Jack came here anyway, so I was able to see her last week. That’s all for our Fisher friends. :) I’d love to get back to playing basketball, you know, when my life is not focused around three little monkeys jumping on the bed and such. :D I’ll e-mail you to catch up on the rest.
