Breakfast at McDonald’s for her favorite food: Pancakes

Participating in the local Groundhog Day’s festivities.
She even got her photo with the a local meteorologist. Check out my Play Library post for more detail there.

She loves her birthday because it’s in the winter and it SNOWS in the winter. We’ve tried to tell her that it will not always snow on her birthday. So far, I don’t think we’ve had a Groundhog’s Day since she’s been born where it hasn’t at least flurried. It pleases her to no end.

Playing at the children’s museum with her brothers.

Out to dinner with Titi and the fam at her most favorite restaurant, Bob Evans (because they have the curly straws), eating her favorite meal, again: Pancakes.

She just read her new book from Bald Man and me entitled Double Pink. Did you already notice how very much pink she was wearing today without even knowing that this book was coming?!?

A doll cake from her Titi to end the day.
Happy Birthday, to my pink, frilly, girly (so very unlike me) Princess. I can’t imagine my life without your smiles, your wiggly teeth, your silly nonsensical knock-knock jokes, or your big genuine hugs. I’m so proud to be your mom.
Happy Birthday, Darling Pink Princess! That is one fabu cake!!
i love her new haircut! so very cute on her.
Happy Birthday! We had fun at your birtday party today. I still can’t believe she is now six.
I can still remember the day she came to bless all of our lives. : )
Hsien: Isn’t that a fun cake? My mom used to make all our cakes. It was such a special treat! I’d stolen all her decorating supplies, so this one wasn’t as detailed as she used to make for us, but it was a perfect cake for our little princess!
Jack: I think so, too! Kinda glad I almost screwed it up, but ALSO had the wisdom to STOP and let Tammy fix it!!!
Annie: Thanks for all your help at the party!!!
It was so fun to have you guys there. Doesn’t it just seem like a blink since you all were standing outside the delivery room waiting to hear if we had a boy or girl?!?
By any chance, has she read the Nate the Great books? I think he likes pancakes almost as much as she does.
Loks like a perfect birthday to me!! Great pictures and that cake looks yummy!!
Kate: No! I’d completely forgotten those books. May have to check the library for those. No, her pancake obsession has been with her from the start, passed down in the genes from her father. He’d have breakfast food, esp. pancakes, morning-noon- and night!!
Aurelia: It was a fantastic birthday.
Thanks!
That cake looks awsome (Since this is about a child’s birthday I’ll keep my thoughts G, or at least the posting). Happy birthday Princess. I wonder, did she get the knock-knock habit from Min? They were telling them at the housewarming party.
Rantz: Much appreciated at the “G” rating.
No, I think she was telling them before Min, though I’m sure that didn’t help to discourage her.
