That’s what was on display at Target yesterday. It was our first real snow and we realized that our daughter’s boots were too little, so we went on over to Target to get her some boots and get ourselves some gloves so we didn’t freeze while sledding and such with the kiddos.
You wouldn’t believe how well hidden the men’s gloves and the snowboots were. But the bikinis? A huge display right as you walk in the front door.
Yeah, that makes a whole lotta sense. But at least the winter stuff was all on clearance! Because, really, who thinks you’re gonna have to buy winter stuff in January?

Where are the cute sledding pics? Hope the kids had fun in the snow! : )
Hmmm . . . maybe they’re catering to those who are already planning for summer? I have no idea. Makes no sense.
BTW, love the new theme!
Annie: Those pics are coming soon! They did have a blast.
Did you guys sled on your hill?
Local Girl: That, or they’re catering to everyone who’s trying to get the heck out of here, maybe to a nice tropical location!
Hey, I hadn’t thought of that. @the theme: Thanks! It’s still a work in progress, but it’s fun!
The kids did not make it down our hill.
We had to go to a bday party
Tropical location that sounds good right now!
What’ s killing me is that they sell out of mittens and hats in November here and then that’s it, they’re gone. Too bad for someone like me whose children occasionally LOSE a mitten or hate, or they wear them out. The only place to get gear after NOvember is REI, and who wants to pay $30 for a pair of kids’ mittens?
You have REI at home now! When did that happen!? You’re so lucky!
Whoops. I was reading Michelle and thinking Kerri. Sorry Kerri and Michelle
Michelle: That IS odd. You’d think that would be a year-round necessity!
Doug: Yeah, I have no idea what REI is. :p
