What do YOU know about biting? August 10, 2006

Filed under: Help! — mnim @ 1:25 pm

Bald Man writing over at Supernanny Rules has a reader asking for advice on a kid who is biting.

Amazingly, among all of the other discipline issues we have faced, biting is not one of them (yet). So, I’m asking all of you out there to help this parent out, because we all need all of the good help we can get.

If you’ve some beneficial advice to share, head on over to this post, and put your suggestions in the comments section. Thanks!

I agree that all mothers need to stick to together and help each other out as often as possible.

I am going to take a stab at this and say that if the kiddo is under the age of 2 then it’s saying no till your blue in the face. course I don’t know how old this child is.

a chart keeping track of good behavior, of course they would need to be 3 years old or so, so that after 3 stars or something like that-or a star a day for example…they get a treat–something like that. It works to get the good behavior you want..cause if the kiddo wants a lollipop for example as the treat–then they know they have to do certain things or not do certain things–have behaviours and whatnot clearly defined on the chart.

that’s all I can come up with….I have other ideas but don’t want to shock anyone!!!!!!!!! he he ;)

Oh, I’m living the “saying no til you’re blue in the face” thing. Draining.
